Gundam Universe
First up! Bandai has announced a new lines called Gundam Universe Figures. This line steps away from the kit building and is more attuned to action figures. These figures (it’s weird not saying “kits” when talking about Gundams) feature an array of options. Everything from movement to weapon load out. For the reasonable price point of $24.99, this is a great edition for fans and collectors alike. Regardless if you like to build, or you just want something cool on your display shelf without putting it together, these Gundam Universe Figures are looking like a great choice. Furthermore, you have 3 flavors to choose from so far. Rx-78-2 Gundam, Wing Gundam or the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam. You can pre-order your Gundam Universe Figure now! Funko Pops
Moving on, it’s been a while since we have talked much about Funko Pops! There has not been a normal amount of releases lately, but I believe that is due to the fact that Emerald City Comic Con is just around the corner. With the event being held in Funko’s back yard, you can be sure there is going to be a good amount of exclusives. You can find a list here that shows what and where all the shared exclusives will be. Personally, I’m not too excited for any of these. The Dragon Ball Z Porunga is kind of cool, but for myself not a must have. I don’t think Funko is running out of ideas yet, but I do feel like they are beginning to rehash the same variations over and over again.
Video Games
Yes, we are still working on our Video Games section for the site. I’m happy to say we have about 10% listed at this point. I wasn’t kidding when I said it takes a while to do these things! It has been a blast so far though and people are really excited about it. It’s a great fit for us here in store and on site. I will admit at first I was a bit reluctant to the idea, but the response has been overwhelming positive and has opened my eyes. Don’t forget, we do buy, sell and trade. So if you have some games or systems collecting dust, bring them on in and get some cash in your pocket today!
Events
Next up, we will be attending the Washington State Toy Show on March 23rd! This is a show for any fan of just toys! Toys old and new, make sure you come and check out what local vendors have to offer. Who knows, you may even find that piece you have been on the search for!
After the Toy Show, we quickly move to Chibi Chibi Con on April 6th! This is the event that was postponed due to bad weather conditions. We are still excited for this show. Its held at the Evergreen Community Collage and is ran by the students of the campus. Don’t let the size fool you, it’s packed with activities, panels, vendors and even a dance at the end! Admission is free so there is really no reason to go!
Continuing two weeks after that, we are pleased to announce we will be boothing at Sakura Con! This show is on April 19th at the Washington State Convention Center. As one of the largest anime conventions in the country, you are sure to find anything anime related you need!
